Submission Guidelines
All submissions must be written in English. All papers and posters must be original unpublished work. All papers and posters must be submitted electronically by the deadline.
Papers should not exceed 4 pages, encompassing tables, figures, and references. Posters should adhere to a maximum of 2 pages, inclusive of all elements. All submissions must be original and should not be concurrently under review elsewhere. All submissions must adhere to the IEEE format and submission guidelines.
Please use the template provided HERE (MS Word) or HERE (Latex) to prepare your paper.
Corresponding Author
Each paper (4-pages) or poster (2-pages) submitted to ISEMV must have a designated author assigned. The designated author is the corresponding author. The corresponding author is responsible for all activities related to the submission. The corresponding author acts as the assigned manager of the paper/poster and should have the authority to speak collectively on behalf of all authors.
Review Process
Each submitted paper or poster will be reviewed by members of the international program committee. Reviews are traditional single-blind peer reviews where the identity of the reviewer is not visible to the author(s).
The qualitative and quantitative feedback from the reviews and other factors of consideration for the symposium will be gathered to determine whether the papers or posters should be either accepted or rejected for the conference.
IEEE takes the protection of intellectual property very seriously. All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using Cross Check. By submitting your work, you agree to allow IEEE to screen your work for plagiarism: http://www.crossref.org/crosscheck/index.html
Final Submission
Authors of accepted papers and posters will be advised of next steps and will be required to move forward with additional requirements and deadlines related to the final submission process. In accordance with IEEE Policy and the IEEE PSPB Operations Manual, all papers must transfer copyright of the paper to IEEE before publication.
Author Mandatory Registration
Papers and posters must be presented at ISEMV by at least one of the listed co-authors in order to be included in the conference proceedings published in IEEE Xplore. The presenter(s) must register at the appropriate author rate no later than September 13, 2024.
Each author registration will support one accepted paper or poster.
