IEEE International Symposium on Emerging Metaverse

The inaugural IEEE International Symposium on Emerging Metaverse (ISEMV 2024), sponsored by the IEEE Metaverse Initiative, extends a warm invitation to students, researchers, practitioners, professionals, and innovators to join us in contributing to shaping the convergence of the real and digital worlds, as we embark on a journey to understand, realize, and influence the Metaverse. Together, let’s chart a course towards a resilient and technologically enriched future, ensuring sustainable growth for the Metaverse ecosystem.

This year’s theme is “Navigating the Virtual Frontier”. ISEMV 2024 will be a full-day in-person event on Monday, October 21, co-located with the 23rd IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR) in Bellevue, the Greater Seattle Area, WA, USA. ISEMV 2024 will consist of invited speakers, panels, and oral presentations of peer-reviewed papers, poster presentations, and a competition.
